Raise awareness about the EU policy agenda, its priorities and values EP elections, their importance and how does it all affect young people.<\/p>\n
Part 1: Each participant gets some paper sheets, glues and markers to BUILD their own house. They can decide on the architecture of the house. In this way, their building and drawing of the house (crooked or futuristic, strong etc) can also represent their ideas on Europe Additional \u2018extensions to the house\u2019, as well as the environment the house stands in or the \u2018surrounding weather conditions\u2019 (sunny, stormy etc) can with other associations be integrated into the picture.
\nParticipants should draw in their house:
\n\u2013 Foundations (values)
\n\u2013 Roof (safeties)
\n\u2013 Windows (vision)
\n\u2013 Door (opportunities)<\/p>\n
For each part, they should write – according to with their perspective of Europe<\/p>\n
– their: values, safeties, vision, opportunities<\/p>\n
Brief presentation\/share moment of the work done<\/p>\n
Part 2: Participants are divided by groups according to with their nationality. Each group should have access to the internet to check their country information. Participants BUILD with paper a \u201ccountry\u201d (map and connections+buildings and infrastructures). They can decide on the organization of the country\/community. Their buildings and drawings represent their ideas in Europe.<\/p>\n
Additional infrastructures, as well as the environment the house stands in or the \u2018surrounding weather conditions\u2019 (sunny, stormy, etc.) can with other associations be integrated into \u201ccountry\u201d. (Maybe) They can receive some template with suggestions of infrastructures.<\/p>\n
Countries should have represented:
\n\u2013 population (urban + rural areas) – numbers
\n\u2013 public main institutions – system, government
\n\u2013 voters\/abstaining percentage in 2014 elections
\n\u2013 voters\/abstaining percentage in 2014 elections among young people
\n\u2013 main issues on public agenda – current political struggles
\n\u2013 perception about EU
\n\u2013 \u2026
\n\u2013 where do young people fit in?<\/p>\n
