Description

This method begins by forming “home groups” where students are assigned parts of a topic to become experts in. Each student focuses on a segment of the material, creates a keyword summary, and then explains it to their group. Afterward, they join “expert groups” with others who studied the same part to deepen their understanding. It’s ideal for fostering youth participation, as students are responsible for teaching their peers and consolidating understanding as a group. This approach also helps students learn to communicate complex information effectively and build collective knowledge.
