Open Badges EU is digital badge creation and library platform. A badge is a digital image that provides verifiable information about achievements, skills, competences or a quality of an individual.
Facilitators create and issue Open Badges for learners to earn, enabling them to build up their own unique collection and share them across the web. The badges’ data can be viewed when displaying and sharing the badges. With badges, you can for instance introduce playfulness in the educational atmosphere, provide feedback to learners, highlight their talents and soft skills, and increase engagement and participation.
