Description
In Participedia, players take on the role of a representative of a civil society organisation which designs, implements or supports public participation through innovative participative events. The aim is to increase players knowledge and critical understanding of different, less known, types of democratic participation.
During the game, each player uses cards, resources, and strategic decisions to design participatory events, respond to social and political challenges, and build successful democratic initiatives. By role-playing different organisations and collaborating or competing with others, players explore real examples of civic engagement while learning about innovative forms of democratic participation and public decision-making.
