Description
Up to You! is an educational, multi‑stakeholder social simulation designed for youth over 14 years old. Players take on the roles of government ministries in three fictional countries, Rosa, Magnolia, and Triland, each facing different development conditions and resource constraints. Throughout the game, participants make decisions about food, energy, water, trade, research, and social policies, all while managing limited budgets and responding to emerging environmental and societal challenges.
The gameplay unfolds over several “decades,” during which players negotiate, plan collaboratively or competitively, and invest in technologies, infrastructure, and social programs. After each round, they see the consequences of their actions reflected in population well‑being, resource availability, pollution, and climate impacts. This closed feedback loop allows players to experience the complexity, trade‑offs, and interconnectedness of the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).
